Dennington Consolidated Charities

Dennington Consolidated Charities have recently purchased a defibrillator for the village, the defibrillator will be position in the centre of the village and will be available for trained personal to use in an emergency.

To start with, the Charity is aiming to train a maximum of 24 people who are residents in the Village, on basic CPR and defibrillator training. This training will be funded by the Charity.

Training will take place over three hours during the day, with a morning and afternoon session, hopefully during October.

If you are interested in attending this training session please contact Robert Wardley by email no later than 31st JULY.

Thank you,

Robert C. T. Wardley Trustee to Dennington Consolidated Charities.

Please click here for more details on the scheme to help residents with transport to work.

The Committee would like anyone who is currently residing and living in the village and who is interested in taking up the Wheels 2 Work scheme, to contact Peter Lamb (clerk to the Trustees) if they wish to be considered for a grant from this Charity. If you are interested, please write to him at the address of the "Coach House" The Square Dennington IP13 8AA.

Subject to means testing, and along with approval from the Trustees, help in the form of a grant may be available to the person/s after they have taken up the scheme.

When making a decision the Trustees would also like to know from the applicant how much has been received from the Job Centre, apparently they can help with some of the costs associated with this scheme.
